seriously, his performance tonight was amazing. i think in a league with less pace like mls he is going to be fantastic. he was never the marauding type, and mls is still very much a “cross into the box” kinda league, although there are a couple of teams trying to break that mold. in all honesty there are only a couple of really, really pacy players in mls, and even then, in the wilting summer heat, the game slows to a crawl. the league is still all about fitness and tactics here in the states.

just like e-mail bankruptcy, i may have to declare tv bankruptcy soon. although the writer’s strike has helped, i just have too much football to watch.
