the influence of money is everywhere–in health care, and of course, especially in politics, which is of course tightly intertwined with health care.

now we have a big name on our side to fight that influence.

the almost idiotic tactics stuart pearce employed in today’s U21 match between england and italy make me so happy we got rid of him. he’s a good, honest man, but sometimes you really have to attack, and england don’t have a horrible U21 side, nor did city have a really poor side last year either, at least not on the pitch. there were a couple of teams we really should have taken it to, and more service and chances for samaras, corradi, and the like might have raised their confidence a bit.
