this makes no sense

from the AP:

The 2006 MLS champions [Houston Dynamo] will donate $8 of each ticket sold to the game against the Chicago Fire. When ordering tickets at either houstondynamo.com or ticketmaster.com, fans must enter the code “VT” for the donation to be made.

It’s almost like they DON’T want to donate–I’ll bet good, good money that at least 50% of the (meagre number of) ticket buyers have already bought their tickets, or will forget to enter the code. Is it really that hard to just donate the $8 for EVERY ticket?

to become a super doctor lawyer fixer of all things. we need more of that kind of person in this world

and every time i’m up late at night reading about some of the crazy stuff around i believe it more and more

my parents think i’m insane, that you can’t change everything, but even if that’s true surely you get nowhere by not trying
