it’s all about potential.

Sunday, March 19th, 2006

i was thinking about what it meant to be deaf and blind, and how timing is everything.

if you are blind early, what does everything look like? how do you visualize? likewise, if you are deaf early, how do you think words out? do you even learn them?

and when you are deaf or blind or deafblind, how do you exercise? read your mail? pay bills? my dream was always independence. but is it a dream for these people?

just some questions i suppose. i was just thinking about potential, that’s all.

sometimes i feel like we are hiding.

do you know what was good about wednesday and thursday

Thursday, March 16th, 2006

on wednesday i went to work really late and got free coffee. i guess it doesn’t take much some days. i stayed up until 4 am because of the coffee. so i studied. studying helps, did you know that? because i had forgotten.

today i went to work even later. no excuse. and nobody cared, because all i’ve been doing is working on the lab’s web site. and it looks good now. time to add colour. and of course, i made the discovery that it is cheaper to buy groceries in porter square. (the bananas are cheaper, too.)

shaw’s supermarkets

Thursday, March 16th, 2006

surprisingly, the prices in porter square are lower than at university park, at least some of them. 3 12pk pepsi for $9 at university park but $1.99 for pepsi at porter square!

maybe i will take the t down there from now on. it’s a bigger market too.

i didn’t think the prices would differ between stores so close together in the same city. i thought these fluctuations were regional. dirty dirty shaw’s.
