what happens when you want to forget?
and what happens to the meaning of remembering on your own? the idea that, because you remembered it, it was important to you? (for me though, it might indicate that either everything is important or nothing is important, because i seem to remember a lot of things. luckily i retain perspective, because i couldn’t remember the name of tonya harding’s husband.)
(the parentheses continue. when i start asking questions about you, it might mean that i want to remember, or that i never remembered in the first place. the first means i want you to be important. the second means you never were. the worst, however, is when i ask no questions at all.)
