today i went to borders, and bought a book. that’s not very interesting.
but as i left i noticed there was a temporary midway by the mall, with a ferris wheel! rock on. rock way on. also a ride called a berry-go-round where the carousel seats are shaped like strawberries. and your standard complement of impossible-to-win carnival games. plus a few “guaranteed winner” games where you get candy every time. lines of cotton candy! funnel cakes. little kids screaming. big kids holding hands, making out on the rides sometimes. bright lights, no frights.
the ferris wheel nearly made me throw up, though. a bit too fast. but now i have no need for amusement parks for a while. until i need a ferris wheel ride again, at least. i don’t really know why i enjoy ferris wheels so much.
ooooohh! ferris wheels! i have never actually ridden on one before. i was very tempted to get on the one in front of the louvre, but then we ran out of time… the story of my life haha.
i just did a photoshoot with issel today! it was so much fun! can i do a photoshoot of you sometime? weeeee
