so last night was interesting, among other reasons, because i got to hang out with and hear stories about my old friends and acquaintances. in some ways, they haven’t changed a bit. i don’t know them anymore, though. things have changed overall, i must admit. and it’s ok, as long as they all are getting their lives in order. that’s more than i can say for myself.
i was happy to hear that everyone is taking care of themselves. every person, i think, must solve certain problems in their lives. it’s no different here, and we all struggle in different ways. some people at mit have it easy, and don’t realise it for a second. most of us don’t have to solve certain problems, like money. i have to remember that lesson.
people are getting married. i feel old.
next weekend will be even more interesting.
