it is the end of a little-known television era today. politically incorrect broadcast on abc for the last time tonight. it is the only show i know of that had good, uninhibited discussion of current events. this all came about probably because of “politically incorrect” comments the show’s host bill maher made following the 9/11 attacks, concerning the nation’s probable response.
how sad. i hope that some sort of replacement emerges. i’m tired of all the fixed and standardized media we have nowadays. this show was special because it forced you to think differently. the stars who appeared on it all thought differently too, and many were afraid to appear on the show for fear of sounding stupid. their loss.
